    Hi

I am new here after buying a 2015 Triumph Triple 1050r

I have been looking through the thread with regards to the R & G tail tidy, I think this is what has been fitted to my bike, now will I have the same issue with fitting Arrow cans as per the above 2016 model?

    Thanks in advance

    Andy

Welcome Andy - and that's a fantastic looking 94R...I see they raided the parts bin when sourcing black forks for the RS.

I'm not sure whether the length of the Arrow cans varies between the different parts for different years, but I suspect that you'll almost certainly need the modified brackets - especially as the 2016 bikes have slimline LED indicators.

Rather than spend out on the brackets, perhaps put the money towards an Evotech tidy - a lovely bike like that, deserves it :)

    Thank you for the reply

So with a Evotech I will be able to use the original indicators?

Looks like this will be my first project

    Regards

Well I can't say for sure - here's a photo of my old 2016 as a guide. I'll go and measure the length of the indicator and see if we can get a better idea...

...approximately 105mm from the tip to where the rubber meets the bracket.

+1 for the Evotech. I fitted one to my RS last week. Quality well thought out bit of kit. Used the standard indications.

    Thanks again

I have the Speed Triple R, so would I not need this kit or would both kit ok?

I have just purchased Arrow cans so need to make sure I get the correct kit

That one's for the STREET triple - use the filter on the Evotech site to home in on the one for the Speed Triple 2015 and you should end up at the link I posted.

R and non-R will be the same fitment :)

All ordered along with the Arrow exhaust, weekend project to get it fitted now!!

Just one other question, once the arrow exhaust is fitted, will I need to get the engine re-mapped?

    Thanks everyone

On the 2016 version, there's a rubber spacer pad between the stock 'untidy' and the subframe which has to be discarded before fitting the new tidy.

I'm not sure if it's the same for your version, but check that you haven't left that, or a similar OEM part in place.

I took off the R & G tailtidy to fit the EvoTech, the plate of the new tailtidy is sat up against a metal plate, I couldn’t see any other part that need to be removed

We need someone with Arrows + Evotech to comment (there must be many who have that combo) - perhaps it's down to the variation of the Arrow cans that you have.

Just a thought - and I’ll check tomorrow, but the standard 2018 LED indicators might help you out. I have a set of four.

OK...so here's a comparison between an original indicator removed from a 2015 Daytona (which looks identical to yours) and the original indicator removed from my 2018 RS (I upgraded to the slimline version).

There's quite a size difference and I'm sure they will improve the look of your rear end still further.

    Indicator_1.jpeg
    Indicator_2.jpeg

The overall length of the LED version is 100mm; the length of yours should be 120mm.

Have a measure up and let me know what you think - it's the way forward :)
