In theory Peter yes they are, but do i want to ride off-road? No ! However they are very comfortable long-distance bikes, wich is what I'm after, without being 'bloaty'.
Hi mate, you are definitely on the right end of the stick!!!!I'm not sure if any of the 955i's had metal tanks but I'll check it out. Looks like all 955's had plastic tanks - don't know if that was carried over to 1050? There was a fairly important change in roughly 2001 where the 955 came in, before that it was known as a 900 but actually 885cc. I'm hoping to get a 2003/4 so at the latter end of the 955 run OR an early 1050. It all depends on this house sale though so we'll have to see what's about once I'm wedged up?
No mate, absolutely not champing (says he having checked three French sites and Ebay UK 3 times already today)
I can see serious homework done here before you decide, just hope you get funds from house sell soon.
I ordered these and they arrived yesterday. Can't grumble for the money and will work perfectly for fill-up, but as per my original post; I definitely will not leave them connected - I'll virtually guarantee they let by to some degree.
