Aldi have the Torq or Hex T handle sets back in tomorrow, £4.99, I got both sets last year and are well worth the money.
Also they have a box of heat shrink, 127 pieces for £2.99 in too, I need some of them.

I'm not so keen on Aldi or Lidl battery powered tools after I had an 18v drill battery nigh on catch fire, then its replacement did the same!
No good saying they'd replace it when you recover it from a shed pile of ash's!

It's all the other stuff I buy, I'm still running on my freebie dewalt battery drill from when I bought my sds 10yr plus ago so it's the small hand tools I get and treasure

Bought, along with heat-shrink set, a box of fibre washers and a box of assorted rivets - Aldi must love us impulse buyers ;-)

Got a set of the Hex bits and two packs of the heat-shrink sets - will come in very very useful for the Honda project!

Chanced it and bought a Lidl's electric drill yesterday, £17.99, absolute bargain!:D
Really well made, very well balanced, and every bit if not better than my Bosch, infact the Bosch its replacing was absolute rubbish & twice the price!
The Lidl one is 750 watts, plenty enough power for what I want.
Only problem was, should have been in on Sunday but didn't arrive until yesterday, never mind, worth the wait though.
    I love a bargain!:grinning:

Just bought the torx set from Aldi. My wife came home later and she had bought the rivets, the fibre washers, some cutting discs and a kit that you use to make eyelets. She's more of an impulse buyer than me. But then that's a female trait isn't it ?
