After a last day of this in the forest it was time to go for a ride. Chamonix it is then.

a couple of great riding days to Bardonecchia in Italy.

Had a good attempt at the Col de Sommelier, got within 1k of the top. I did manage to drop my RP on the way back down though. Not much damage really, just a couple of bits of plastic.

returned back to my lad’s house just outside Chamonix via the col de Madeleine.
A great week with very hot weather and cold beers.
These Tigers are pretty good at just about everything. Just a bit heavy to pick up on your own!!!
Just back to Yorkshire today and lovely weather here too.

It certainly was more comfortable than without on the longish 500-550 miles days. On all rides the air flow under me was noticeable. Especially on the 35°plus days.

@Glenn2926, I'm late to your thread...doing some forum catch-up today. I really enjoyed your photos! Sounds like some terrific riding. As others have said, I'm glad your Tiger--and you!--were OK despite the drop. I love your understatement about the altitude Col de L'Iseran. "Fairly high up". I had to convert meters to feet so I could envision its height. Wowzer...that's a mountain all right! :)
