Don’t get me wrong I think it looks great. And certainly better than anything the competition offers. (MT07’s sound bloody glorious with a pipe/system)! I guess for our cousins across the water and ANZAC pals it’s less of an issue cos they don’t have to have a big yellow billboard out back.
Mark, I was unfortunately more restrained than usual in my picture taking and failed to properly support my brothers and sisters on the forum. I did take one more pic from the pilot's chair and one on the front quarter (attached). In my defense I was distracted by Xan and Andy (T of S sales guys), who were pretty pumped about having this bike to sell. We were having a very animated conversation. I think they get 18 Tridents and have already pre-sold half of them. The Tridents won't be at the dealership until February 2021.
They have, and highlight that it's very different to ride than the Street Triples that have come before. Which goes some way to explain why they made it
OK going to get controversial. What a stupid idea. Good job we are leaving then but I suspect when we are out we will have to adopt all their rules regs anyway. So the Brexiteers go what they wanted in name only. BTW, I'm a "remoaner" !! Keep safe everyone
Yes, I noticed that. There were co I don't think we have left Europe or the UN though. The vehicle regs implemented by the European Union are developed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe...
I agree...a lot of people I know thought that leaving would mean we go our own way on rules/regs/law but obs that won't be the case....anyway just my 2 cents. I don't want to start a Brexit debate. We had years of the "B" word and now it is the "C" word.
I understand Triumph aimed it directly at the MT07 buyers market, I recall the original Street Triple coming in at around 6k, the speed 4 didn't take off and dealers were selling those off at the end for under 4K with the body kit, the same happened with the 955i RS Sprint, I picked up a brand new 04 model in 2007 for under 5K, a lot came back from Australia due to low sales, again a similar thing happened with the 955i Daytona and grabbed one at a silly price. I do hope the Trident sells well, that rear end though may not be to everyone's taste. I like the Street Triple 765 RS and I'm on my second, again though the rear hugger is short and throws all the crap and stone chippings out the rear including the undertray, I had an Evotech tail tidy on and it looked like it had been shot with a 12 bore, I've ordered a carbon fibre extended hugger so hopefully it will do the job the original should have done. The pics are the RS Sprint, only sold it late last year. Ride safe all
Hi T552. Your bikes gorgeous and a credit to you, those are very well sought after now, I wouldn't be letting that go if it was mine.
That'll do for me!!! ARE YOU LISTENING TRIUMPH???? GET YER FECKIN' ARSES IN GEAR!!!! Ooh! Did I just say that??
