Hi Riders, I have a 2018 triumph street triple 765RS, I noticed that when the bike is on and the gear setting is neutral it vibrates more and makes a different noise. This vibration and the noise stop when I press to shift gears or shift into another gear. Is this normal behavior?

My Tiger 800 does it too.

I believe it is the clutch plate basket vibrating. Solved simply by having the bike in gear and riding it enthusiastically as God intended. Honestly, fancy having a Street Tripe and having enough time to notice an odd noise in neutral - these are strange times.

Seriously though, it is perfectly normal (I think). The rumble might get more pronounced as the bike gets older due to wear. Don’t quote me on that, it’s just an assumption/wild guess.
