2021 Triumph T100 & Tec Centre Stand

HI,

I'm 90% through the install of the TEC Centre STand for my 2021 Triumph T100.
Got it fitted, and the spring in place. No problem so far.
Do you think I can fit the rubber bung that fits in the hole at the base of the LHS Exhaust?

Anyone have any ideas how to fit a big rubber bung into a little hole?

Tried Grease, washing up liquid, silicone grease, silicone Spray and even spit.

Cant get the little sod to fit in there.

Anyone else found/suggetst a solution?

I'm having the exact same problem. Did you ever resolve this? And if so, how?
