Thank you for reply. Does indeed help. Have evaporative connection but Florida bike so maybe they shipped all to US complying w/strictest California requirements. In any case, n retrospect, don't think this is likely cause of low low end. Vacuum in tank too slight. Don't even know if inverting breather & evaporative would make any difference. Can't figure it out. Thought for sure airbox connection to eco would've taken care of it!
Hi Cyril, Is it only under 3,000 revs that you have a problem. Does it run ok over 3k. if so is the throttle cable adjusted properly at the throttle body. You said it was sticking around 4k coming down, although this has righted itself, that would also be a cause of a badly adjusted throttle .You should adjust the cable at the throttle body so that you've got 2 - 3mm of free play at the twist grip, any more or less and it needs adjusting. Worth a go, if nothing works I'd be tempted to get hold of a service diagnostic tool, or find someone who's got one, then the bike will tell you what's wrong with it. Hope you manage to sort it.
