We have our 2003 Tiger, about 37000 miles, and now that it's 20 years old it could proibably use some work to keep it going for the next 20 or so!
In the time we've owned it I've done a couple sets of chains, sprockets and tires. Couple 3 batteries, just recently in September I replaced the stator and the RR, there were some very charred wires in the stator and the battery was dead with no voltage output. I replaced the plastic orignal fuel line connector that had cracked with a steel one. Other than that it's been reliable and still runs well. I'd like to keep it that way.
So thinking the stem bearings, swingarm bearings, rebuild the forks, fresh plugs , air filter and those usual soft parts like that. Anything else that long term Tiger owners might suggest?
