Wow, very sorry you had to deal with wiring that was hacked at so badly, but you sound on top of it! I have a 1998 Daytona being shipped from a friend who I am certain has not screwed with the electrics and has had most work done by a reputable shop. So my issues will mostly be from sitting in the weather not covered or ridden.
