A Few more hours spent on fitting the yokes bars and controls along with a NOS rev counter. Fitted the outer covers to the engine and gearbox along with the footrests.

I love it when the build gets to this stage. all the hard work beforehand and heaps of cash spent all seem worthwhile.

    great work Darkman

One can well imagine how difficult and time-consuming it is to procure the missing parts. This is especially true when the parts list is so long. Waiting for the mail packages is certainly the more pleasant part. ;)

It's still fighting me lol but it only down to the detail now, little things like modifying the standard push rod tubes to take the chromoly push rods as they are a fraction larger and finding an original kill switch with a brown button instead of the normal black ones or even little things like finding the correct shock mounting bolts and mudguard fittings as they are different on early bikes.

Cheap glass for bigger bits and glass bead for finer detail bits.

Thanks for the praise :), if i don't focus on things my mind wanders and when it wanders too far that's when the shit hits the fan, so i look on these projects as therapy lol. Hopefully next year it looks like i will have some small jobs to keep my wandering mind in check.

At last i have sorted the push rod tubes and new rods, rebuilt the rocker boxes and finished off fitting the head and carburetors.

Absolutely out of the world DarkMan. You can tell Triumph didn't build this beautiful machine. If you had build their bikes they would still be producing bikes.
    Happy Christmas.
