04 Daytona 955i Rectifier

I don't know yet. I didn't check the stator before I fitted it, but once fitted was putting between 13.6 and 13.8 volts into the battery throughout the rev range. 2 miles later had a distinct smell of burning plastic and a melted fuse box around the main 30 amp fuse.
I isolated all the wiring and ran the rest of the weekend total loss, charging battery between runs. Stuffed it in the garage when I got back and went off doing other things for a week.
I'll get in the garage tomorrow and do some proper diagnostics to see what I can find.
