You can always get it sprayed gloss, be a few hundred pounds to get it done, plus possibly some new decals.

It is as long as the gearbox has been designed to cope with the loads, unfortunately it’s proving that the RS gearbox can’t.

new gearbox would only be the gear cluster anyway, as long as all the damaged parts get replaced it should be ok.
1.5kg just for the rear footrests and bolts.
