My 1200 XE Scrambler came due for a service so I did it myself. Oil, filters, coolant etc. Now how do I get rid of the "service due" symbol on my display.?

Buy an OBD Link and the Tune ECU app. A must if you do your own servicing.

As @NatM said, you need to invest.
Total pain but still far cheaper than using main stealer.

    Have a look at this.

Note that the ECU Tune software is only available for Windows PCs.

Thanks mate, can you elaborate.? What's the OBD link. I'm familiar with the plug in CAN bus interrogation tool for cars but never had to use one for bikes. Is there a scanilizer port somewhere on the bike.? Cheers

My local motorcycle mechanic reset mine for me, might just be worth an ask. I just put some money in their tips jar! (They are friends of mine, but pretty sure they'd help others out in the same way).

The OBD unit is plugged into the bike's diagnostic socket, and you download the software from either Tune ECU or Dealertool, personally I would buy the Dealertool, it costs £65 and will perform what you require for servicing. It will clear the service light, allow bleeding of the ABS brake system, throttle body balance, etc. You will need a laptop running either Windows 10 or 11. I have attached a photo of the Dealertool OBD.

The OBD Link is a small Bluetooth module that'll fit in your pocket. I take it with me on trips in case I get a warning light coming on. TuneEcu is an app on my phone.

Thanks, mate. I found one on Ebay. I'll get the app on my phone and hopefully sort the issue out.

Couldn’t find the app on the App Store so I assume that rules out iPhone users?

Yes, you can have an OBD 2 or the more advanced OBD 3 Bluetooth module linked to a phone for the Tune ECU, however the module has to be plugged into the ECU, the module then reads the data from the said ECU and if your licence for TuneECU is valid, it connects, allowing the person to complete whatever task they wish do do, within the parameters of the software, there is no function whatsoever to directly allow for bluetooth connection on a phone without connecting it to the bikes ECU. With the TuneECU, some people have uploaded maps onto the machine's ECU and then encountered difficulties as permanent changes have been made, and for some, the original data was not recoverable. There are no issues at all installing different maps and tunes, provided you have a good understanding and interpretation of what you want to achieve. With the Dealertool, there is no function whatsoever that allows for any modification or alteration to the bike's ECU, it does allow for almost all functions as the Triumph Dealers diagnostic unit. Whilst it is not a big job to remove the seat and connect the Bluetooth module, it is a problem if you are in an area where no phone signal is available. There are pros and cons for whatever system a person decides on. For me personally, I have an unlimited licence that covers all Triumph models, some newer models, however don't have all the functions. When I decided to remap my own machine, I had the Woolwich Racing software installed, set up on the rolling road. This took the best part of a day to do it. And the Dealertool still performs all that is required service-wise.

It used to be available for windows too, but now it's only available for droid. Some people just buy a cheap droid phone. Costs start to add up tho, as you need the obd link, and the annual tune ecu license which I think is $25 or 25 pounds/

I spoke to the suppliers of the HealTech Maintenance Mate and the manufacturer is currently trialing a MM-T05 which should reset the service indicator on the new Euro 5 Triumphs but it’s not been released yet so it doesn’t show up on their website.
