These arrived yesterday. I'd like to say they were a late Xmas present but they weren't. There was a bit of a discount and I couldn't resist.

I'll fit them in the next day or three and post a snap.

What do you do when you've got a bit of spare time and the weather isn't conducive to wheeling the bike out of the garage?
You browse the internet and get sucked in to buying stuff of course!

These turned up today (proper carbon)..

Yes Fatal but nice. One question i have i see your chain sits loose like mine and i wondered what is the free play on the chain.

I'll check it if I remember next time I go in the garage but the bike hasn't been used much since it's last service, so that's pretty much how my Triumph dealer (Youles) set it. I certainly haven't touched it since they did.

@beerkat Thanks and yes similar to Bulldog and my 660. I used to think it was around a inch but i am an old fogey and know little about newer bikes.

I think Triumph say chain movement should be 43-55mm on your bike Joe. That's way more than an inch. If you aim for 2" that would be more like it. One inch is going to be too tight.
I learned the hard way about over tightening a bike chain. It snapped on my GPz750, two-up with luggage, on a dual carriageway at around 60mph. The chain went through the crankcase but fortunately the bike stayed upright. We missed the ferry to Spain though.
So I've always been wary of over tightening the chain. An inch isn't enough.

@beerkat Thanks for that. I will just leave it as the dealer has done. Don't want any mishaps.
