    Hi All,

    3 problems i'm afraid.

    Question One.

Its a 09 speedy 1050 with 10,000 miles on it.

Th Suspension settings are difficult to get right. If you go buy th book its 2 turns out on th front its soft. But mine soon go from soft to hard in a smallest of turns. Also comp is on th right and Tens on th left when they should be th other way around. Does that make a difference?? They do appear to comp and tens th same were they are. Iv taken oil out as it was over filled and hydrolocking.!!! Now i can use all th suspension that i payed for... If it allows me.

So Im very close to having them stripped and cleaned, re sprung with progressive springs?? and put back together th right way around with correct oilings.. As im getting a bit fed up of carrying a screw driver around every time th weather changes temperature. I kid you not on a cold day they do stiffen up to race standards, that dosnt suit my B road blat..

    Question 2.

Oil light comes on when it feels like when th engine is off. New sender unit or clocks problem??

    Question 3.

Oil vapor for all th world seams to be coming from a hole bung in th sump. As anyone had a similar problem?? Also th near by breathers are dry, so it carn't be them? Oils filter, sump plug all oil tight. See fotoes.

Note dry all around filter seal.

I would get your suspension setup by a professional. I sent my forks and shock to MCT. Cost a few quid but well worth IMHO. You could also try K-tech who are near Donington Park and there are others about.

Assuming it is an oil pressure switch, I would check that and the wiring first. These bikes are known for wearing through the wiring near the headstock.

I would check for a blocked breather first and then give the area a thorough clean and then dust with talc powder to source the place where the oil is coming from.
