I've wanted to do the front brake upgrade on my 2008 Scrambler for a while and was chuffed to finally buy a caliper in very good condition. However, it turns out the mount it came with is not the correct version for the Triumph forks as it fouls the disc. So I'm now looking for the correct mount - a bit of a minefield working out which version it is, but part no. 45190-MFA-D11 seems to be the one. If anybody has a mount they know fits the Bonnie, etc. fork and wants to sell please let me know asap! Many thanks. Thanks.
Have you considered this?https://www.ebay.ca/itm/26699431325...ffM2UlWTuhQtrFdT0Jrdvxt9eYs=|tkp:BFBM2M_-0-Fl I put one on my 2002 and it was an easy fit. Combined with EBC's HH pads it makes for a really good brake.
I've got a new complete kit including caliper, I never got around to fitting to my Bonnie, it might not be what you want as I'm guessing you're just after the mounting bracket?
Can you send me details of your kit please? Can email me [email protected] if that's easier. Yes when I first posted I thought I might be able to find just a mount but after further research over the weekend I've realised there are a lot of slightly different calipers and mounts! The one I bought seems to be an early ABS version with one of the sliding mounts in a different location. All in all it seems there's no easy solution to making that caliper a bolt on upgrade - frustratingly it's only 1 mill out on one boss and 2 mil out on the other. I briefly thought of having them machined.....
