Rear Shock Removal

    I intend to change out my rear shock this weekend on my 2010 speed triple in the Haynes manual it says you have to take the tank of and remove the shock from the top. when I have done this on previous bikes I do it buy taking out the back wheel undo the shock then lower the swing arm to the ground then remove the shock from below does anyone no if you can do it this way on a 2010 speed triple

    I did my 2010 Sprint, very similar, and it does indeed have to go in from the top. At least l did it that way...not hard as far as it goes :)

    Yes i would do the same as it takes all the weight away.

    If I remember correctly when I removed mine, you cant move the swing arm enough to remove the shock from below.
