    Hi,

Heard a loud scraping noise as I walked away from my bike today, turned around to see a big Merc that I had parked behind driving off. Thought she had scraped her wheel off the curb but walked back to just check. Noticed a large gouge from my side stand where she had pushed the entire bike back until my rear wheel was wedged up to the curb. Thought I'd had a lucky escape and rode the short distance home. Didn't notice anything until I was pushing the bike into the garage and heard a loud whooshing noise when I bounced the front forks with the brake on. Can't see any damage, lifted the gaitors and no oil leaks, but there is definitely a noise from the right hand fork, like air escaping on the rebound. Paranoid now that she has bent the fork slightly, could that have happened or am I just worrying about nothing? Bike is a Thruxton 1200 with standard Kayaba forks.

    Cheers.

In the unlikely event anyone else ever ends up in this situation, I went to Watford Triumph, bounced up and down on every T120 I could find, same forks, and some made the same sound, some didn't Also, technician had a look and said everything was fine. So; just me being paranoid...

That's a good result from a potentially rubbish situation ;)
