Living in Arizona in the midst of a major long-term drought, Steve, I find that to be a particularly apt observation. :(

I wish I could send you some of our precipitation Sandi. We don’t have any at the moment, but I’m sure we won’t have to wait long.

Likewise. I find myself trying to plan spins in between our downpours! Had 50min yesterday between them after work and made the most of it!

I can’t complain, as it’s been pretty good overall. We actually had some warm weather for a while. Then the rains came back. Now it’s just a mixed bag.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could share our dry and wet weather so we'd both have a better balance, Steve?! :sun::cool::eek:

I’m sooo jealous. No track in my neck of the woods. I dream of doing a track day in the future.

I had an issue with my brakes juddering a bit under heavy braking. So have stripped the callipers and cleaned up the [pads again. I then cleaned the discs as well and then I noticed my front tyre is over 7 years old! It looks hardly worn but will be changing before my next track day in July.

We should have been over in Canada last June, rebooked for this June, which has now been cancelled. So hopefully will be over next June. We'll give you a wave, as we are coming over to Vancouver.

Yes definitely! We could meet for a ride. I’m on Vancouver island and there are some fantastic rides here as well.

:)Well ... yesterday was our first warm day in months. We even saw the sun....So my plan was hatched . Up early and out on the bike. Up at 07.00 and off we go... Feck it’s cold and foggy... real Cold and real foggy.
Bollox... but the Super Sausage cafe is warm. Coffee good , banter amongst the tables great. Today is getting better ..:):)

Just got home. My ride home was just as cold as my ride out. The temperature on the bike showed 9-10 degrees but I was cold everywhere. I just googled Windchill and no wonder I was cold just take a look at the chart. I may have been doing slightly more than the max 60 mph speed on the chart. …..:cold_sweat::cold_sweat: Effectively -20 ……

Roads were a bit moist at first, ride back home was therefore more spirited and fun.

Had a great two days on the bike Monday and Tuesday. From home to Settle and onto Ribblhead, Hawes, Sedburgh, Orton, Hartside Pass, Hawick and a lap of Kielder Forest on day one. Then across to Consett to the hotel. Day 2 consisted of a run into Barnard Castle, Stokesley, Helmsley and Malton and then onto home. Plenty of miles and a bit tiring but well worth it.
