Any tips on how to unseize the rear axle hub as it has seized solid and failed the MOT as tester could not adjust the chain. Not a job I've attempted before so just trying to get an idea or two before locking myself in the mancave for the day (or weekend if need be)?

Think you will end up having to strip it down. But i am sure some of the brighter inmates will be along soon.

Lots of Plusgas around it, remove the pinch bolt which secures it. I bought an extra long adjuster C spanner off Ebay*, and ideally get someone to use a suitable lever to try and prise the faces of the clamp a little bit, to release some pressure. Then try to work it with the C spanner. Otherwise, teardown

*lt was a chap in Yorks somewhere, laser cuts them. Forgotten his details though. Sorry

    Bought one myself :)
His telephone number is here...or you could search the title on eBay.
