Thinking of going black outer with red inner for the Oberon fuel cap, as my bike is white with red accents

 

I nearly did that...after deliberating at Oberon's show stand for several hours

I finally got they s22 on and I’m pretty impressed..managing to get out a fair bit now..been a long haul with this lockdown and my wife catching covid(she’s a nurse).
Noticed the Sc project clip I put up doesn’t work.ill need to get it up again I think my wee boy deleted it.
Been getting a lot of compliments about how it sounds...really does sound amazing when riding it..happy man.

 

No new parts to report and no fiddling with stuff - just a Saturday afternoon ride in the Essex lanes

 

Has anyone found a way of keeping the TFT screen in night mode permanently? (Black background)

 

I’ve heard of people sticking a patch over the sensor on the screen.

I've been patiently waiting for a low mileage 'old white' RS without a quickshifter to come along & now I have one, and, with all the extra's I wanted;

Part exchanged my 2009 Aprilia RSV1000R & 2015 Speed Triple R for this 2019, 2100 mile RS. And it came with a fresh service & 2 years/5k miles warranty.
Great deal from Teasdale Motorcycles at Thirsk, who also let me keep my Evo Tech Axle Protectors, pillion grab rail, & mirrors from my R.
I've added;

• R&G Bar End Sliders
• R&G Lower Engine Case Sliders
• Evo Tech Engine Crash Protection

Loving it, such a free spinning engine, great dash, & feels a little smaller & more agile than the 2015 R - almost like I've got on a Street RS with added go!

I've not ridden a 2015 version, but the difference between my 2016 and 2018 felt night and day, so I can imagine why you make a comparison with the Street.

 

Have you removed the rear light finisher/surround for the grab rail as it’s part of the kit as got cutouts in it for grab rail

 

The grab rail comes with the finisher with cut outs.

 

What screw head type is this on the throttle housing?

 

F*cked by the look of it. Normally the fasteners are torx or hex.

 

I'd have said it was a one-way tamper-proof security bolt - it's telling you not to mess with it

Yes, i leave it in Auto Contrast & have covered the 2 sensors on the dash with small round stick on “feet” off a data switch (or any other electronic device that has these protective feet)
Now stays in night mode 24/7
