Going to fit the chain guard this weekend, I would imagine it is a rear wheel removal job. I'm not adjusting the chain but I would like the torque settings for the attached photos.
Hey buddy, I just removed mine and all you need to remove is the wheel and the rear hugger. There is also a couple of bolts above the chain. Just push the chain down and you’ll be able to access them. You don’t need to remove the axle nut on the chain side.
Yes, had a ride around north Notts Lincolnshire and south Yorkshire, very comfortable and surprisingly agile, I didn't push the speed and I tried all the modes. A very nice bike and it will do me
Les, to remove the rear wheel all you have to do is take off the nut on the right hand side. The one on the left (sprocket side) is for removing the stub axle, and should only be necessary for greasing the hub bearings. You also have to remove the brake calliper to get the axle out. Bike is looking awesome BTW.
Cheers Yorkie, I owned a 954 blade that I put a VFR 800 SSWA, so I am used to this set up, I just think that the 146nM for the hub pinch bolt seems a bit high, if it is 146nM.
