Oh yes....very tasty bit of kit. The 'wrong' pic looks bloody gorgeous Paul.
I lived in Lancs (Southport) before I moved up here in 2017. Shame we didn't meet up at Rivi or suchlike. A blast to Hawes would have been just that....a blast :imp:

Anyone wanting a set of pencil coils can contact me on pm. As Jon said they are plug and play. I did a lot of research to find the best coils (the wrong ones can destroy the igniter)and the best fit and seals.
And all retro fit if you buy another t3. You can see in the pics how well they fit.

I've seen the CRK bikes at the NEC and read the article in MCN and really like the look of them, but have to say you've done yourself proud as it's the nicest I've seen, you'll have to give forum members first dibs if you decide to sell.

OK so started the front end conversion this weekend with the arrival of the new headlight shell, digital gauge and brackets ..

    IMG_7608.jpg

For me i wanted to neaten this up ...
    IMG_7609.jpg

And particularly sort out the really high front line of the bike...

    IMG_7610.jpg

This meant stripping it all out (including all the wiring that took me ages to do )

    IMG_7617.jpg

Just playing around with the positioning but think its going to look good ...

    IMG_7620.jpg IMG_7638.jpg

I was playing around with the warning light in the pic above but ultimately i think i will be mounting them into the headlight shell.

Hopefully get some completed pic up soon and then its on to the suspension.

So managed to get it all fitted and wired in and am pretty happy with the results! I still need to play with the position a bit and will probably drop it about an inch when i change out the font forks but here is what she looks like now ....

Finally - they are here and I almost have all the bits to start the suspension upgrade ...

Will still need to figure out the front axle and find a way to secure the speedo drive and mount the front fender

This will also allow me to refine the position of the headlight and get the front profile just right.

Biggest problem is the lovely weather - dont want to take it apart at the minute as I am enjoying riding her too much - way have to wait for a rain day :) !!

Made a bit of headway and have been mocking up the front using my old front wheel and calipers:

First we had to make some shims to reduce the axle holes from 32 to 25mm

Axel now fits perfectly and we have a bit extra to help with the spacing

Caliper mounts are now machined to fit line up perfectly with disk

Close up - these are temporary bolts (have stainless on the way from Pro Bolt)

Next step will be to test with the spoked wheel and see how that fits. Going to use this opportunity to space the disks out and gain a bit more clearance between the spokes and the calipers.

Once that is sorted i can swap the forks out.

OK so made a little progress over the weened and the new forks are now in. I am still tweaking a few things to get the caliper spacing just right and also working on new fender mount brackets so that I can get the front fender on.

    Its getting there though...
