Thruxton (05) Clutch Cover, Push Rod ?

Hi all,
I have tried looking into the SM but the comments say “Withdraw the pushrod, noting which way around it is fitted” .....but I didn’t get a chance as it dropped out. My fault as I pulled the covers for polishing before I sourced the SM.
What direction is the rounded end ment to be located?

Pushrod rounded end point towards engine.
