Getting super frustrated with having an older (new to me) 2012 Triumph Tiger 1200 explorer need to reset the service spanner and can't also changing the wheels but not sure about the tyre pressure sensors if they are removed is there a fault? i need operating sensors like i need a hole in my head!
Any advice on any of the above, sensors from triumph £150!!!

Hi and welcome to the forum  - I have the DealerTool for my 2013 plate Tiger 1050 SE. It doesn’t have any TPMS but in the blurb from dealertool if says……

So should allow you to turn the TPMS off

EDIT - The DealerTool also allows you to adjust the service interval time and turn off the service light….

Do you just google dealertool? I bought a obd tool which guaranteed everything but didnt deliver and it was £200, i've also heard of bluetooth obd's and apps but nothing that works on my bike, what sort of price is dealertool and how does it work? (very helpful by the way)

search tigertool, there is a guy on the tiger 800 forum that has created this and it's possible equivalent is available on the tiger 1200/explorer forum.

Go to https://dealertool.co.uk/ from memory mine was £65 - you get the adaptor lead and licence. Download the software on to your laptop - all very straight forward (I’m not an IT whizz by any stretch of the imagination).

You can then plug your laptop via their lead in to the OBD port on the bike (looks a bit like the old SCART connection on your TV / video) and do whatever you need to.

I bought it so I could do a proper fluid bleed of the ABS system and it worked great (link to post below). I adjusted the service interval to the max so I wont get any annoying lights come up and I used it to check the throttle balance. As mentioned I don't have a TPMS so can’t advise on that but it works for everything else so expect it will do what it says for that.

Thanks for the assist, I bought dealer tool and it won’t work on a chrome book, they advise buying a windows based machine, that’s never gonna happen so they’ll be getting it back and the obd search continues gonna try tiger tool.
