ARRHHH bless him he's polished them before sending obviously made them lighter ok now to work Dilli remove grub screw from rear remove shaft and fabricate new hinged one sounds Simple's PS - Meant to add be sure to keep an eye out for the works supervisor.
Stripped one of them down and it’s in the sonic cleaner at work Just gonna keep the stainless foot plate silver the rest will go with the tow arm and be powder coated once I’ve worked out how best to mount them
Was in the garage last night offering up the foot boards to NUDGERS tow bar Gonna be far too much of a faff on to mate these up to the folding footpegs And when done they would stick out too much for my liking So I’ve removed the mounting shafts and with a bit of Dilligaf modifying I’ve decided to mount them in a fixed position First job....remove the mounting lug with a hacksaw

I am going to have a welder look at what can be done, it’s only done 34,000 Miles & the engine & gearbox are great as is the living area, will take a view on how much versus how long it will last, it may be worth biting the bullet & doing it all properly now rather than a bit at a time.
Think I would get that repaired and put an MOT on it then get rid of it otherwise you’ll be doing that again next year
It has an MOT until June, just put it in for service to make sure it was ready to go for next season & garage warned me about the rot. I need it for next year so will have to repair.
