Thought i would try 2 more on the back instead of 1 down on the front as it's far easier and you get a nice alloy sprocket.

Hi Darkman, What does that do to the acceleration & does it result in a need to re-calibrate the speedo?
    Cheers. GAJA

No idea on speedo yet  but should just give it a little more punch, i normally go down one on the front with sports bikes but as this bike has less power and less revs i thought i would try + 2 on the rear and it shortens the wheelbase as well, bike was very stable before so 5/10 mm shorter should not hurt.

I think this mod will send the speedo off. That's what happened when I did it in my previous bikes. You will need to install "speedohealer" made by a company called Healtech Electronics and calibrate to read the correct speed. It's all plug and play :)

Unless of course this can be achieved through Tuneecu! !!I'm new to triple so I don't have a clue whether this can be done through tuneecu.

That's super cool. In the past all gearing changes I did always threw the speedo off. This is brilliant because once I get use to the bike I'll be changing sprockets n no need to spend money on speedohealer; -)

If you have the latest model with engine modes then ignore this (I don't think TuneECU supports the latest models), but for 2015 '94R and earlier if you want to alter the speedo it can be done with a feature that's already in the standard ECU. Connect using TuneECU and you'll find speed calibration is set to 100% as standard, TuneECU enables you to alter that.

very, noticeable. on acceleration anyway, not concerned with top speed although 130 in 5th the other day so cant be to bad.
Plus i have lightweight wheels which i changed around the same time as the sprockets, so a combination of everything.

Only affects the speedo if you do it on the front iirc.

I've ridden it. Spins up like it's made from titanium!

These bikes pull like a class full of schoolboys in standard form as you know. I can confirm Tony's is a definate improvement. So much so I'm going to try either/or myself soon.
