Hello All, Names Lien and i ride a Daytona 675 2010 plate.

new to this forum page and I could do with some help.

Due to my circumstance I have had to leave my bike sitting for a few weeks and I come home the other day to find my bike making a high pitch constant whining. It hasn't been started in about 2 weeks battery is connected and so is an aftermarket tracker. Does anyone know what this noise could be ??

I have had an issue with a intermittent high pitch beep which was just a 10amp alarm fuse but this is a constant high pitch tone (possible dead battery I'm not sure)

If anyone can help or give some suggestions I'm all ears !

    Thanks in advance Lien!

    Round your way!
Sounds like the battery has been drained by the Alarm & Tracker (one of them is squealing). I had both on a KTM 690 I had, after a week the battery had been drained to make starting a pain!
Get an "Optimate" charger keep the battery tendered!

    Nice looking bike!:p

Hi Lien and welcome. Agree with Stripplemont on the battery being the culprit. Let us know if you sort it.

Welcome aboard buddy. We've had quite a few bikes come in to our shop with trackers that have been wrongly fitted by other dealers. If you're anywhere near Woburn pop in and we'll have a look.
