My first question is about tyres. Can I ask that here, or should I find a more appropriate area? I'm going to chance my arm here : what tyres do we recommend for every day 'enthusiastic' use, that are nicely radiused and soft, but still grippy enough in the wet? Not for touring not for trackdays, but for general commuting with a healthy side of weekend hooning.

Welcome aboard mate. Nice to see you've already captured the quality (said advisedly) of this forum. Enjoy the ride buddy. Tyres I'd recommend are Rosso Corsa II, mutli-compound, best for grip and overall performance. If you're round Woburn area we can get them in for you and give you a decent TTF discount.
