Chain Adjustment Housing

Hi All, I’ve just bought a 2011 speed triple and I’ve just adjusted the chain on my bike and have tightened the adjuster clamp bolt to specified nm but there is a slight gap in the adjuster housing is this normal.

 

Do you mean the horizontal gap in the end of the swingarm ?

 

Yes mate I wish I’d looked a bit closer beforehand
