It's the "weep" hole for the water pump.
You don't have to remove the tank as mentioned above. Undo the bolt at the rear, move the tank back slightly and lift the rear.
There is supposed to be oil in there. It does not affect the sensor for the PU coil.
I installed a Motone riser on my 2024 T120 and the cables are long enough. If not, then re-route them to the other side of the fork leg.
