Hello fellow owners... I have a Street Triple 765 S 2018 purchased in August as a replacement for my Honda CB600F Hornet 2013 that was written off earlier in the year. Due to weather I have had limited riding, only a few longer rides, however, the bike seems to droop at the rear quite badly, when accelerating from standstill you can noticeably feel the bike drop at the back. I am a fairly heavy rider, so a friend helped me to adjust the preload on the rear suspension to almost max but it still feels to soft, even my mate (10 stone) sat on it, and pushes on the rear said it does seem way to soft compared to his two bikes. I have noted from a picture someone took of me on the bike at traffic lights, the number plate did seem close to the rear wheel, however after a long ride over moors etc, bouncy roads, the number plate does not actually touch the tyre.... when I had the Honda never had to adjust the suspension at all. Has anyone else experience the same, know a resolution for this? Do I need a new shock?
Measure the static sag and put the measurement up here? Unload the rear suspension and let it sit back down gently under the bikes own weight. Measure to a fixed point, say the top of the back light. Gently sit on it and measure to the same point, an assistant will probably be required. What weight are you as possibly a spring change maybe needed?
Okay, sounds like a plan re measuring the static sag. Embarrassingly I was 6'1 and was 21.5 stone when I purchased the bike, trying to lose weight due to some health issues currently 19.5 stone, hoping to lose a couple more by next year when the weather gets better.
I wonder whether you might need to replace the spring with one more suited to your weight? I am a fairly small and light rider and the suspension for me is very stiff on the R model. It made the world of difference having it set up professionally for me, which does not cost much. Maybe go and see a specialist and discuss with them? Do you have the 660S or 765RS? I don't think there has been a 765S model, but the S, R and RS models all have different suspension.

@jimbobaggies Welcome to the family. You have the best answers already. But as @Mrs Visor has said see a good Tech and let them set it for you loads of them around especially at tracks. Or the other thing is contact someone like Hagon and have a shock built to suit you and the bike. Don't know if you shock has had any use or abuse to really give any good advice. Do tap the upload a file button bottom right corner and let us all see the bike.

Will be taking it to a local garage I have always used and ask them about the shock, maybe it needs a rebuild, or I could consider the one from RS model, just depends on price. I have added a picture of my bike to the original post... I also recently purchase the direct replacement Arrow exhaust for ~£200 from eBay, it is the EU version with non-removable baffle. Definitely makes a difference in the performance the way power is delivered... sound etc
