I use Stag Wellseal on crankcases a dab of thread lock on big end nuts and crank pinion nut and a dab of sealer on any bolts that will go into the engine internals, all paper gaskets just have grease applied to them.
Rings gaped and pistons fitted along with barrels and rebuilt head fitted to check the pushrod tube seal crush, next job is to fit the rocker boxes when seal crush is sorted, cam timing set and magneto timed as well, finish off with a new Morgo oil pump with fit the timing cover.
Polished rocker boxes and rebuilt them, sorted out the pushrod tube seal crush and fitted the rocker boxes tighten head down and set tappets.
Progress has been slow due to doing the drive and other jobs plus its a bit chilly out in the workshop.
After a long wet winter and getting the driveway and garden sorted i finally managed to get Su's 5T finished
Very bloody pretty. well done that man. Beaut By the way, do you have pharaohs buried in the front garden?
