Went for ride today. Was full when I went out and bars dropped as normal. Filled up and the bars usually go all the way to top after a few miles. However, gauge is stuck on the number of bars it had when I filled up. Disconnected battery but made no difference. Anyone got any ideas?

By way of update - new sender arrived. Another Triumph rip-off (£80). Anyway, fitted it and still not working. Plugged into Tune ECU and did a reset and now all fine.

What type of fuel did you use?

I've found that filling my ST with E10 causes problems with the gauge under reading. If I use super unleaded (E5), it reads correctly

Could this be due to the two fuels having different specific gravities? After all the sender unit is basically a mechanical device, isn’t it? I ask because I’m still in analogue mode from my old Ducati and are not entirely familiar with the electrickery on these modern machines yet.

Yes, I'm assuming it's something like that.
