    Morning all.

Lifelong Honda (and secret Harley!) owner here and bit the bullet and sold my beloved SP1 of 15 years last month. Decided it was just too uncomfortable for an ex-rugby player of advancing years! So, looked around and went for a 2021 Speed Triple 1050 RS. Only 19 miles on the clock and I must admit its been a revelation. Comfy, smooth, quick, easy to throw around. Just love it. Afraid I'm going to be asking a few newbie questions, but looking forward to spending some hopefully sunny days and evening's out on her on the Sussex roads! Cheers.

Welcome to the family. Yes great bike. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates the new steed. Here in the asylum they like pictures.

Morning all. As requested by a few, here's some pics. SC Projects low slung exhaust on order, some carbon side panels and black wheel rim tape to lose the remaining yellow. Loving it - if only the damn rain would go do one!! Also got to say, a really friendly and helpful bunch on here as well.

    Hi rimbo!
I've got one of those (from sportsbikes) and I love it.
Sure, not as fast in a straight line but realistically, more than you ever need.
    2 things if I may?
1, QS. Check its got the notch in the arm (factory recall, free).
2, get the suspension sorted! For most, it's way, WAY to hard.
    Other than that, good buy!

Oh, and get EBC HH pads all around! Makes a big difference!

Hi there. Thanks for the reply. When you say a notch in the arm, are you talking about the swinging arm? It was registered in January, so do you know when the recall was? Interesting what you say about the suspension as the shop said the same. I came from a VTR 1000 SP1, which was like riding on a plank of wood comfort wise, but must admit even after that the ride is quite hard! Will have a look.

    Hi there,
    https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/gear-shifter-adjustment.21212/#post-349434
If you don’t have a "notch" cut out of the actuator arm, it's not been done so it's an essential.
