Congrats on the semi-retirement and new work gig, OsteKuste! You'll have to start posting in the What You Drinking Tonight? thread regularly and provide us some recommendations. Glad you'll get to enjoy riding more often, too!!

 

Went for a ride along the Cranborne,Horton road,into Wimborne,to stretch the legs.Nice ride.

 

Had a short 1.5hs blast on the tiger. Didn’t stop or get off the bike so no pictures lol

I've recently made a lot of changes to my bike (see profile) and yesterday I finished adding the last bits (front plate and gaiters), so I took it for a nice 90mile ride to celebrate.

 

Nothing at all exciting, but I sprayed my wheel cover . Was quite faded and wasn't sitting well with me. Removed and cleaned the chain guard as well. Now need to get some wheel nut covers (if that's what one calls them!)

 

Actually, I completely understand about being too busy enjoying yourself to take photos, @Wessa. I've done a couple of rides lately where I got back home and was having so much fun that the thought of taking pictures didn't even enter my mind until I was back in the garage! I guess that means that we're "in the moment" on rides like that. That said, I always appreciate and enjoy the ride photos you share. So please don't totally enjoy yourself "too" much!

 

My riding buddy has had broken ribs for last 3 months, so he was dying to go for a cruise. We did a quick 100 mile squirt around the coast, stopping for some great fish and chips in Kaiau

 

Sounds like a fun ride, Dartplayer and a great way for your buddy to get back out there on his bike. I envy you having all that gorgeous coastline right in your backyard!

 

As weather forecast was 'probably dry' I took the opportunity to do a couple of hours riding to check out bike's new tyres and brakepads. You can't beat the feeling of new tyres effortlessly tipping into corners and I'm pretty sure the EBC HH I put on the front have better stopping power than the Brembo pads I had been using. Fortunately rain held off except for a few drops when nearing home again.

Today the classic togas I took a punt on Ebay arrived so I put them on.Most importantly they did fit so a result for £100.I will do the tors tune #20507? tomorrow and take a picture if its not raining like today.

As I spent the morning dropping my eldest son off at work, getting a (long over due) hair cut (professionally done), and spending a few hours with my doggie mad sister and her bonkers canine chums at a four day agility competition, I came home to see my neighbour get back from wemoto. He had some extra coolant fluid and asked if I would like to change mine over too with the spare. Yes I said and then got distracted for another couple of hours.

Busy day.

Mrs CB is so pissed off with me (again) for doing stuff that doesn’t involve her.

@Sandi T I fitted the loops for my Kriega pack today.
They just sit around the subframe, and when not in use can be easily tucked away.

You then stick the seat on with the loops sticking out.

Then the pack can be attached with 4 hooks...

 

Not today, but yesterday. Got speedy some new shoes in preparation for my pan-european trip in September.
