Yep, Dartplayer, it's hard to believe that I've lived in Tucson 30 years! I've lived here longer than Minnesota, where I grew up, or California, where I moved to from Minnesota after college. I've lived in the Tucson and the Sonoran Desert longer than anywhere else during my lifetime. Mr. Sandi sometimes talks about wanting to move someplace with water (which includes nearly anywhere but here!) because he likes to fish and our summers make him crazy. But at this point I'm in love with this desert and can't really imagine living anyplace else. Now if it keeps on burning down around us like it did in 2020 I may change my tune.
I believe that’s Echuca on the border of NSW and Victoria. I was there in 2014 on the Emmylou. The captain was Darren, from Newcastle UK and he let me have a steer of the vessel.

I've been to Norway in the car, and that was great. We camped and stayed in Hytter. But several years later the ex FIL invited me for a sailing trip to Norway, delivering a yacht. We left Lymington marina in a force 8, and when we radio'd in to Dover coastguard, stating our destination their reply was "Yacht Islander, are you sure?" Anyhoo, several days later we sailed underneath Preikestolen near Stavanger. Impressive. But it was to get better. We sailed up the complete length of Sognefjorden, then back to Fläm to leave the yacht their for the owner. The views from the water were just breathtaking. Especially in Geiranger. And the catabactic winds you get in those fjords are quite exciting... From Fläm we took a fantastic railway trip to Bergen, and from there the Ferry back to Britain. Magical trip...
I'd love too, but in April we planned to go by car with madame. From there on a bike, it's a bit too much for her
I see your point mate- got to keep madame happy Norway is great in a car too, although I never got further North than Trondheim...
