    Couple of things.
New front stand (Sportsbikeshop), a new tank pad set, diddy little stickers on the sides and a carbon inlet thingy.
Fitted the slightly small plate too.....
Started her up just to enjoy that barking noise. A good morning.

That numberplate is an instant nick apart from changing it to represent something it's not
Single line is illegal on a motorcycle it has to two and can be three before a certain year it's because of people who take the piss that the law is soon to change to a three point endorsement and I'll not be allowed to run my reasonably sized 7/5.5 without risking my licence

It all went great. Apex used to be a Triumph service and dealership, so they have one Triumph certified mechanic there. He mounted my tires and fixed a brake caliper bolt issue. Anything internal now, I can contact him directly and work out repairs without going to Denver. Whew!

I can see why you are so happy to not have to go to Denver for repairs! Mr. Sandi and I and three ride buddies rode through Colorado Springs and Denver last year on our way to Sturgis (2019, NOT!!! 2020). I recall both areas very well because they were very stressful parts of the trip. The guy leading our group of five on the outbound part of our trip had ridden to Sturgis numerous times before so we figured he'd have it dialed in. Not so much. :( He had us going through Colorado Springs at the height of the Renaissance Festival so we found ourselves in stop and go on I-25 for a v-e-r-y long time. For Denver, we were going to take a loop that keeps you off the freeway that goes right through the city but he said, nah, it's the weekend. There won't be any traffic. Ha! There was a baseball game and traffic was absolutely nuts. I've ridden through Phoenix many times and nothing compares to riding through Denver for the "sphincter clench factor". People were not motorcycle friendly and that's putting it nicely.

Then on the way home Mr. Sandi and I and our buddy, Larry, lobbied to head west out of Denver on I-70 then go on smaller roads through Leadville and Buena Vista. We were going through Denver on a Friday and planned to leave Sturgis early enough to steer clear of prime rush hour. But we got a very late start that day (thanks to the same guy ) and found ourselves REALLY in stop and go traffic for over an hour on our way to and through the Eisenhower Tunnel. And, as you know, I-70 isn't exactly flat (understatement)!:scream: And I was on my Road Glide. Suffice it to say that nothing I find myself doing now that involves a clutch and a steep incline seems all that difficult. ;) If and when we ride to Sturgis again we will have a more active role in planning routes along with what days and times we navigate certain places.
