What’s all this then
Was raking about in my garage for some steel bar or angle iron
When I found this
It’s off my old 92 Fireblade
Ooooh I’m pretty sure it’ll give me a bit of a start on part two

 

Bit of sawing drilling and filing
Here’s hoping

 

After cutting and drilling did a trial fit

 

Put the seat back on
Got wor lass out of the house to sit on the back and see what adjustments have to be made
Bugger as I thought the bars of this are sticking into her legs
She said it feels fine
But bowling down the road and hitting pot holes will be a lot different than just sitting in the garage

 

Using a big lump hammer and my bench vice I flattened the front mounting points to lower the bars
Because I had already cut out the centre of the mount I used some masking tape to find the centre again so I could find where to drill the new holes

 

That’s better
Got wor lass out again and put the seat back on
Now I’m getting somewhere

 

Cut some flat bar and made the two rear mounts
Bolted together for the time being it’s absolutely solid as a rock
Anyone got a MIG welder that they can drop off for me
