Been riding my 2012 for the last couple of weeks, and noticed compared to my other two steeds, namely a 2017 MT09 and a 2015 KTM 690 Duke, the front suspension is frankly SHIT! Every pot hole results in a jarring and what seems to be a rattle of springs within the fork housings! Are there just more pot holes or are the spring internals f**cked? Been considering overhauling front end with maybe some progressive springs ( please don't suggest TeC ). Any thought or recommendations
Yes. Fit Wilbers Progressive fork springs. Funnily enough (ahem!) Hagon use the same part no but charge a tenner more in packaging in the same colour scheme...... Takes your jarring front end to a more floaty state for the first couple of inches of travel. You sacrifice the feedback you might get on smoothe tarmac but given our Third World roads ......instant comfort improvement. I was amused to read comparisons when clearly Wilbers are Hagon’s fork spring suppliers

Been looking at fork springs for mine. From what I can see :- Wilbers are £126 Hagon are £96 Both include delivery, where can I find Wilbers £10 cheaper ?
I bought mine for £79.99 v £89.99 6 years ago...... go with the best deal you can find. I imagine new water T100 and old air T100 springs are different items?

Bought the Hagon progressive spring and oil combo and will hopefully fit tomorrow. Got to the stage now where I can not stand the teeth jarring front suspension of the Bonneville anymore, it has got so dire that if this does not cure the budget priced OEM setup.............. the BPOS is going on eBay!
I've got Ikons in mine. They work a treat. The GM at our place, who is a highly regarded bike builder, doesn't reckon progressive springs. I put TEC in my Street Twin. They're going on Ebay to be replaced by Ohlins to match my rear shocks.
A lot of snake oil in the big name suspension on offer. Most front replacement springs seem to be progressive, don,t want to chuck good money at what is a cheaply setup bike from the factory. Rears have been changed to Hagon. Front is like riding a pneumatic road breaker Edit: TeC stuff in my opinion is very poor!
