hi just bought a 2016 triple r not being delivered for another week or so got the dealer to fit a tail tidy they said they would order one from r&g looks like that's my first mistake going by the views on here. I have seen pictures of it now with the indicators above the exhaust looks hideous oh well that might be the first thing to come back of again lol. also does any one know of any throw over panniers that can be used without having to fit any frame work just want to use them for the odd nights camping. got lots more questions but ill drip feed them don't want to do your heads in straight away. thanks seems like a really good forum.

IMG_2261.JPG Welcome in Bob, I have a Street RS with an Evotech tail tidy, this fits nice & looks good for what it's worth.
Just fitted an R&G radiator cover which I thought could have been better (see what have you been doing with your triumph today' thread).

    Hi Bob1
Yeah, sorry, but I am in the Evotech camp on my Speed Triple R (16) - very strongly made, well designed and robust
Regarding the odd nights storage, you could opt for Triumph's tailpack that sits on the rear seat

    10-15L @ £108
    also comes in 15-20L @ £159
would also need the tailpack harness @ £10.20
I use mine daily for carrying puncture repair kits, locks, cleaning stuff- it is mostly empty however.

    or/plus a tank bag

Either that or a top box....I think there is something about them on this forum somewhere:neutral:

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Please don't ruin your bike by fitting a top box! :D

Use the search function on this forum "throw overs" or "luggage" should get you plenty to browse through. If you have the twin high exhaust then you're going to need a frame to keep throw-overs off to stop damage (and catching fire). Without a frame your best bet is one of the Kriega tail packs sitting on the pillion seat.

Not sure about the latest models but Evotech rad and oil cooler guards on my 2015 are subtle and spot on fit / quality.

I have a spare one of those in perfect condition together with the tailpack harness. I bought it when I bought the bike but I have ended up using a rucksack instead.

If anybody's looking for one they are welcome to make me an offer.

    Cheers

I have the r&g tail tidy. When it's raining the water is flung upon the back of the bike and me. need to buy an extended wheel hugger
