Thanks for the encouragement Storyteller, it can be a dawn ting job when every room in the house has bike bits in... But it's getting there just a few hiccups with parts but I hope by the end of next month she SHOULD be back together. The biggest problem is how far do you go , the more you strip the more you see needs doing, she will never be showroom because there was to much corrosion but she will look a lot better than when I got her, Thanks again
Thanks Bikerman. It's near complete just a bit of snag list stuff then that's it. It's never going to be like new but at least she look respectful again. It's been fun......sometimes lol
At least you've the satisfaction of saying " I did that ". Hope that you'll be able to take some brilliant pictures for all to see, when you get out and about on her. Enjoy it.
Wow! Good work! I'm lucky here in OZ we don't get quite the corrosion problems your pictures seem to evidence, my America is 8yrs old now and only the lower fork legs show much of it's Age.
