No, I had to get the pic of the Blade from the cloud as I didn't have it on my phone. Gawd knows how the 14th tee got in on the act :joy:

Wish I still had the Blade, it'd be worth a bit now:weary_face:

Yup that's the latest ditch pump:heart_eyes:

When I take a nice shot of a fairway or green it is usually followed by a poor shot.

    Only one? :joy:

The photo itself was one I took after some moron visitor in a buggy drove up a steep bank in front of the 14th tee, then straight across it towards where I took the photo from on his way back to the 17th hole behind where I was stood - you can just see the tyre track on a direct line towards the gorse bush and thevwhite tees on the right. At the time buggies were restricted to the paths which made it even worse. Nothing was done by the senior management team (who I call Laurel and Hardey) as a result. The members have give up approaching visitors who are damaging the course etc as there have been instances where the members concerned have then been verbally abused or threatened so we just phone the proshop now and let them deal with it.

    Starting in 1971,
    BSA C15
    Yamaha DT175
    Yamaha RD125
    Suzuki 250
    Yamaha XT500
    Kawasaki Zephyr 550
    Triumph Trident 900
    Triumph Bonneville 790
    Triumph Adventurer 900
    Triumph Bonneville T100
    BSA C15
    Royal Enfield Classic 500
    Triumph Street Twin 900
    Yamaha Tracer 700
    Royal Enfield Himalayan
    Royal Enfield Interceptor
    Kawasaki ER-5 500
    Royal Enfield Classic 350
    Triumph Bonneville 790 (current)
    Royal Enfield Bullet 500 (current)

First 20 or so years small cheap and cheerful low cost commuter bikes to get to work, recent years for pleasure. At one time or another they were all my favourite bikes, I had the DT175 when stationed in Cyprus for a couple of years, great for off roading, currently I am doing around 6,000 miles a year, sold the Himalayan as I found it rather heavy and I stopped off roading, didn't like the Interceptor, now have the perfect two bikes (for the moment).

Actually I was not completely correct when typing my bike history as I thought only proper motorcycles would be of interest.
    So, my update:
Aprilia SR 50R from about 2006 to today (has about 18000km on it)
Vespa Primavera 125 Pic Nic from 08/2023
And hopefully Triumph Bonneville T120 from mid April 2024 on

    Edit: typo

Taco minibike with 5hp Briggs and Stratton Engine
I don't remember what ever happened to this thing.

    Yamaha DT 250 Enduro
I ran this bike into the ground, broke with no hopes of repairing it, I left it dead with a hole in the top of the piston, on the side of the road. I was a teenager living rough then.

    Yamaha RD 400 Daytona Special
I flipped this bike in a wheelie on the freeway. No insurance and many more important things to do with my money, I had no hope of repairing it. I sold the engine to a guy that put it in a Honda ATC frame.

    Yamaha XS 1100 Special
This bike was stolen from me. Someone broke into my apartment and rolled it right out of my living room. No insurance.

Extended motorcycle hiatus for careers and women begins, 1981.

    Then I retired and without a woman 2017. o O ( Let the buying begin ) :)

    Kawasaki KLR 650
Ahh pfft, weak on road, weak off road, boring. Traded it in. : unamused:

    Moto Guzzi V7
Looks very neato but same as above, weak and boring. I dumped a ton of money into this bike on aftermarket parts first though just to prove how smart I am. Traded it in. : unamused:

    Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber
Very neato also to look at and it had a little umph too, but I was less than thrilled about it being air cooled and shaft driven. I lived in Phoenix at the time where the air is hotter than the engines in the summer. I kept this bike for several years as I began collecting bikes.

    Triumph T-100 Black
Absolutely gorgeous retro bike. I would have kept it for life but the dealership delivered the wrong VIN to me and begged me to trade it for the correct bike. So I opted to get a full refund instead and get a T-120 Black. I later saw the T-100 in their showroom with the miles reset to 0 BTW! Fricken criminals!

    Triumph T-120 Black
Still have it, love it. :)

    Triumph Thruxton 1200
Still have it, love it. :)

    Triumph Bobber Black
Still have it, love it. :)

Triumph Speedmaster 1200  Grrr. Triumph sold me a brand new lemon. Beautiful bike with a defective engine! Pretending that no problem was found would not warranty the thing. Several other people who bought the same model/year have the same problem. Last Triumph I ever buy.

    Kawasaki Z900
Bought this on a whim, on the rebound from my Triumph relationship. Not what I was hoping for. Sold it right after break-in period.

Now in my sights ... maybe a '24 Busa and maybe a '24 MT-10. o O ( more than maybe ) Then maybe another woman?
