Being an ubertolerant, broad based marxist scum kinda guy I take all views and opinions and let them sit in the world. I'm fucking buddha like. (and getiing fatter by the millisecond) However. A chap has to have standards, lines to be drawn in the sand. So, with fair warning, you are dead to me if.. You do not like the music of Jimi Hendrix. If you say it is just feedback I will rip out thine eyes. You think short trousers are appropriate dress for an adult male. I've never suffered sweaty calves, they need no ventilation. If you cannot cook. You may as well boast of not being able to wipe your own arse There's more, obv, but if anybody would like to chime in with their own lines in the sand, please do
Little Wing is a particular favourite. Shorts are fine in appropriate climates. Man make fire so barbecues are a uniquely male preserve. A lovely bunch of coconuts
Shorts. Are Never. 'Fine' I don't like seeing my own varicose veins. I sure as shit don't want an eyeful of yours. Cover up man.
What about the kilt then? I have an absolutely bloody huge varicose vein on the inside of my knee. looks like a map of the M8 but I still wear the kilt now and then though obviously not while in the saddle. On the other hand I hate the way so many folks where those bleeding Bermuda short type cut off trews these days. Looks so bloody scruffy.
The Jockineese are a law to themselves. You have an innate compulsion to wear the Kilt, as is your right. There's a choice available with shorts. A right and a wrong choice.
If you speak to me and start your sentence with "now, look..." Prepare to eat your teeth. Politicians, you have been warned. Shorts... No! Hendrix? Yes! And, I wouldn't be the size I am if I couldn't cook.... And, you're a long standing woke wanker of this forum.
These are my standard questions to try and find whether you are likely to be mate material; Bitter or Lager? Football or Rugby? Boobs or Bum?
I agree the NAAFI mobile canteen is more typical of the breed but in no way diminishes their value! That looks like a Mark V or later so probably post Alamein during the pursuit. My pic looks more like a garrison snap posed for the family from earlier or later in the campaign. Not sure many Army units wore side hats in the desert.
Could be anything really, RAOC, Royal Corps of Signals, Royal Kent Regiment to name just a few, the cap badge doesn't look RAF. The Corp looks like the typical hard wee bugger and he's got a darker shirt on, maybe Khaki?
Check on all of them ...so I do i get on your Christmas card list. On the other hand my list of gripes is far too long these days.
