Hi All. Yep, another newbie on board. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool 'biker and confirmed/certified Triumph fanatic having owned and ridden them since 1966. My core passion has branched from the favoured twins of my youth (I have a '72 T120 and two TR6's- '67 and '71) towards the Slumberglade and Hinckley triples (A75R; '76 T160; '92 Trident; '93 Tiger; two '95 Speeds and a 2010 Street Triple). I'm nervous about taking a test ride on a 765RS as I fear I'd be unable to resist the siren call ..... though living with something quite that aesthetically challenged (to my eyes!) would take some getting used to! Trust you're ALL enjoying this remarkable biking weather - I'm consigned to the scaffolding and masonry paint for the foreseeable. Ride safely. Regards, Adie
Welcome too the Asylum you should fit right in. Too keep the inmates happy we will need photos. Tucker
Many thanks for the warm welcomes. Yep, I'll be OK in this jacket but, as Lemmy said, the sleeves are much too long. If you like black, you'll LOVE this ........
Thanks Ade. Proper ones? Meridens you mean? They're all in storage and mostly project bikes, I'm afraid. The black Speedy is standing in the doorway of my (as yet incomplete) workshop building which - when it's emptied of builder's materials - should enable me to get the other stuff back home and motivated to start a few rebuild/restroration projects. In the meantime, the Hinckleys are my proper bikes!
