Hey, I'm new here, been on ADV and RAT for a few years now. Always had a bike of some sort since my 3.5 hp mini bike in 1974. Long Guzzi / Norton history and Triumph since 2007. I find myself an American (AKA Ungrateful Colonial) in Stuttgart Germany because wife works for US Army here. I like the location for travel use. My 2001 Sprint ST was stolen in Dudley (Near Birmingham) a few months ago and the police were polite but useless, even when I told them it had been spotted at the same place and same time 3 days in a row. I picked up a 96 Sprint 900 and have started a CRK Cafe Kit in preparation of springtime. Glad to be here and I spend a lot of time in the UK so you just might see me in the flesh someday. I regretfully sold my 03 100th Anniversary Bonneville to a GI and he won't sell it back to me.
Vecckio. Welcome to the Family. Bummer about you bike. And yes the law doesn't really help out much were bike's are concerned. To busy these days collecting speed fines as that really is big business. Ride Free Joe.
Hi Vecchio and welcome in to the Triumph Asylum - Nursie will be round soon with your 'meds'. Great introduction by the way. Very Sorry to hear about the theft but look forward to seeing your Café Racer project unfold.
thanks, don't know how Ive missed you lot over the years. Glad to be here, I hate to start another CRK build thread as there are already a couple real nicely done write ups already. I learned a very valuable lesson, get two gps trackers, a real good one hidden down deep and a cheap one easy to find. the Cops were at the hotel within 1/2 hour of the theft (desk clerk saw it happening) and if Id had a tracker, I would have been recovered easily. I won't make that mistake again.
