What’s wrong with the satnav instructions to a Bluetooth headset?
I don’t think I’d like a head up display in my helmet, just something to distract your concentration.
You need to be concentrating much more these days because all the car drivers have got lots of gadgets like HUDs distracting them, even when they’re not on their phones.

I like the Bluetooth instructions definitely.

I find getting in lane a nightmare going in to city centres, so a display is handy for this.

Taking it a step further and linking it to the dash would be excellent so you could see everything without looking down.

I remember seeing on another forum that a guy had fitted a HUD device to his helmet, with camera feature too.
It looked very bulky and unwieldy, as well as ridiculous :p
Personally I’m not comfortable with sticking things like that onto my helmet. I’ve got an intercom on mine and even that’s a bit bulky.

Lorries have destroyed the fun of my country runs recently. An EMP to disable it temporarily so I could get past would be brilliant.

Having KITT on board would be worth the money alone haha. Just don't call me Michael

Not exactly a heads up helmet, but I can remember a bicycle helmet from years ago, that was fitted with mirrors inside so you could look at the peak of the helmet and see behind you, the problem was it caused a lot of accidents because people were watching the mirror instead of the road ahead, I Would think this would be the same.

Think it is something that will become more main stream in future years, with bike info being transmitted to it as well as sat nav. But I also think it will be taken up by the next generation of riders brought up with this type of technology rather than the old school like you gents.

Don’t forget some people use bikes/scooters as a way of transport not just entertainment.
For me there would be too much info going on and not sure how it would work with focus change between road and visor

I agree with you here, but it’ll be much better when the technology improves and it’s integrated into the helmet, not just plonked onto the outside.
Then again, by the time this is possible they’ll probably have banned motorbikes for being too dangerous for us.
