I'm guessing even though the S is a great bike, with the only slight bump to an RS, the S is hard to shift anyway. The cornering ABS on the RS being the main one for me. I'm surprised Triumph haven't gone down the Ducati route and made it standard on all models.
I remember buying a brand new Sprint RS (my first ever new bike) from Bill Smiths, I did the deal over the phone and arranged to collect the bike at 10 in the morning. I was still waiting for it at 4pm,.basically they had forgot to get the bike ready. if I hadn't travelled 150 miles and paid the deposit I would have told them to f*ck off probably a genuine mistake but I got offered one brew in 6hrs. not that I am bitter LOL but i haven't darkened their door since
