Very sad indeed. Just goes to show that its not just the pure roads circuits that can be cruel. Sympathy goes out to all their family and friends.
WOW - what a remarkable lady! Courageous, loving, observant and astute - she is amazing. To recognise and respect a partner's passion - despite that passion cruelly taking her partner from her - requires incredible strength. It sounds like they both lived for the day as well as for each other! God speed to them both.
Thanks for posting this very touching letter. She is truely a remarkable woman and her strength is a great reminder that not only racing is dangerous, but motorcycling at any level is....
What sad and tragic news. Dan's wife, Lorne's, letter is truly amazing and her words capture the spirit and kinship that so many of us develop with others around motorcycles, riding, and racing. My heart goes out to her and to her family and to Laura's also.

Always a reminder of what can happen, but equally you can fall down stairs just as easily, Mourn for the families and friends but remember it was what they loved to do.
